During the spring of 2018 I interned at frog design as an Interaction Design intern in their Brooklyn, NY studio
and learned all sorts of ways design thrived in the world that I hadn't previously been exposed to (industrial design, design strategy and design thinking to name a few). During my four months there, I delved into three client projects, two smaller internal studio projects, hosted a few cool events and asked a million questions to all the amazing designers I had the privilege of working with!

Design research project / Client project
A card sorting exercise for a design research project with a retail giant who was interested in learning about how people shop for groceries online, and if they could find value in a smart home device to do this everyday task
We ran two sets of user research studies with grocery shoppers across the U.S. and I worked on transcribing, capturing key insights, theme-ing ideas and developing a research de-brief deck to share with the client
As part of the research process, I worked with a mechanical engineer to create a voice AI tool that could be used to act as a pseudo system - I wrote the research script and voice script and we adjusted in real-time during interviews
photo wall / side project
One project I worked on was with the Industrial Design team on creating a photo wall for the studio - learned the ins and outs of creating modular systems in physical spaces!
Collaborated with an Industrial Design intern to test different adhesive surfaces and magnets, and designed photo cards to capture the fun energy of the frog NY studio
Midway through assembling - we debuted the new photo wall at our intern coffee time :)
Portfolio slam 2018 / Side project
Having been recruited through frog’s annual Portfolio Slam competition, I was super excited to join the team creating the branding and leading the event for it!
A Visual Design intern and I worked on the branding for the event, organized logistics and helped screen students applicants
So fun! :)
